What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a special chatbot that is based on artificial intelligence and was developed by the American company OpenAI. It stands for “Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer”. It sounds complicated, but it’s basically a smart computer program that can understand and write text. ChatGPT has been trained to respond to questions and requests and to act like a real conversation partner. It can be used in various applications, such as chatbots that can be found on websites or in other programs. With ChatGPT we can get information, gain creative ideas and get support with various tasks related to writing and understanding texts. I answered the question “What is ChatGPT?” in great detail in one of my last posts.
How does ChatGPT work?
ChatGPT is a specialized form of OpenAI’s GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) language model, which is specifically designed to respond naturally to questions and instructions. GPT is based on machine learning, which is used to create artificial neural networks that resemble the human nervous system. ChatGPT is already well trained and has thus built up a multi-layered network. Using texts with around 500 billion words, the software learned how language works, what the differences are between written and spoken language and how to answer which questions.
What are ChatGPT prompts?
ChatGPT prompts are like small requests or tasks that we send to the chatbot ChatGPT. These prompts are like hints or instructions for the chatbot to help us with various things. If we ask ChatGPT with a prompt, it can write us helpful answers or even texts that we need. The great thing is that we can use ChatGPT prompts to get ideas, improve texts or even invent new stories. It’s almost as if we have a clever writing helper at our side to help us write better and get information. Another term for prompts would also be “command”. You can find a brief overview of the most important prompts in my last post on prompts.

The areas of application for ChatGPT are already extremely diverse and are expected to expand further in the coming months and years. Do you work in marketing and want to increase your efficiency, productivity and quality with the help of ChatGPT? Then I have a few relevant prompts for you here. Please note that you have to adapt each prompt individually to your goals, target groups and expectations. My prompts are merely suggestions or serve as inspiration. The prompts become really successful when they are enriched with your content.

ChatGPT prompts for marketers – the mistakes you need to avoid

- You rely 100% on ChatGPT and adopt the texts without questioning or adapting them yourself.
- You enter confidential information into the prompt and jeopardize data protection in the process.
