After working in industry and agencies, Sophie Hundertmark was one of the first Master’s students in Switzerland to research chatbots. Since 2021, she has been doing her doctorate at the University of Fribourg on the combination of Conversational AI, Fuzzy Logic, Ethics and Large Language Models (LLMs). She also works as a research assistant and lecturer at the Institute of Financial Services Zug at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (IFZ). Sophie Hundertmark has many years of experience as an independent consultant for the strategic support and implementation of AI and chatbot projects. She also advises companies on the (ethically) responsible use of Generative AI, ChatGPT and similar AI systems. In this context, she ensures a regular exchange between academia and practice on all topics of AI-driven conversational automation.

As Growth Lead and advisory board member, Sophie supports innovative companies such as AlpineAI, eggheads.ai and Cloudburst and is on the board of the SwissInsights Association.

Sophie actively campaigns against greenwashing with her own association Greenwishing.ch.

This also includes understanding when it is better to send a handwritten postcard instead of an AI-generated email.
