AI is not the future – it is already our present.
Children are growing up in a world where AI tools like ChatGPT are part of everyday life. This makes it all the more important that they learn how to use them correctly and responsibly.
As an AI expert, I would like to support and guide parents and teachers in preparing their children for the AI world in the best possible way.
Seeing AI tools as an opportunity for the future
My intention is not for everyone to blindly use AI tools. I am convinced that we will not be able to manage without AI in the future, but that is precisely why we must learn to use the new “everyday tools” in a conscious and considered way.
Promote critical thinking and social interaction
My goal is for children and parents to understand that AI can be a support, but never replace their own critical thinking or social interactions. AI is a tool – but we as humans must continue to take responsibility for our decisions and our knowledge.
Why is it so important for children to understand AI?
AI can be a great help, but only if it is used correctly. Children should know:
- What can I use AI for?
- What can’t AI do?
- How do I deal critically with AI results?
- Why does my own thinking remain important or become even more important?
- How do I protect my data and why should I not enter any personal information in open AI tools?
- Why doesn’t AI replace school or real friendships?
How can I help you?
I offer various ways to teach you and your children how to use AI:
1. individual 1:1 consultation
Do you have questions or don’t know how to explain AI to your children? In a one-hour consultation, we clarify exactly that. You will receive specific tips, application examples and answers to all your questions.
*As soon as you have booked the consultation, you can send me your suggested dates. We can also meet online or on site at off-peak times.
2. my guide “ChatGPT for children of parents”
This compact guide shows you how to teach your children how to use ChatGPT in a fun way. It also includes small exercises that you can do together.
3. individual workshops & advice for parents and children
If you are looking for individual advice or a workshop for a group, just get in touch. I offer customized solutions for families, schools and parent initiatives.
Of course, I can also meet directly with your children and train them to think critically and use AI tools responsibly.
How can children use AI sensibly?
In addition to a basic understanding of AI, children can use AI tools such as ChatGPT specifically in their everyday school life. Here are a few examples that I would be happy to discuss in more detail in a personal dialog.
- Explain learning content
- Structure homework
- Developing creative ideas
- Prepare essays or presentations
Dangers of incorrect use of AI
If children use AI tools such as ChatGPT uncritically or incorrectly, this can entail various risks:
- Data protection risks: Many AI tools store or analyze input. Personal data should never be shared in open AI applications.
- Thinking without criticism: If children blindly trust ChatGPT, they can accept false information without questioning it. Critical thinking can suffer as a result.
- Unlearning your own thinking: Those who rely exclusively on AI may no longer develop their own solution strategies and approaches.
- Social impact: If AI is used as a substitute for social interaction, this can affect children’s social skills and interpersonal relationships in the long term.
Prepare your children for the AI world!
People keep asking me what it will take to prevent us from being overrun by artificial intelligence. One measure against this is certainly to educate and encourage people about the correct use of AI. And children, as the generation of the future, play one of the most important roles here.
Let’s work together to ensure that your children are not just consumers, but competent users of AI. I look forward to supporting you!

My tips for balance
It is particularly important to me to maintain the balance between AI and real human experiences. Even though I’m a big fan of technology, I value personal contact and real, handwritten messages. I love to write at least one letter a week to a friend or family member. Maybe you’ve even received a postcard from me before? I like to send little surprises such as cakes, cookies or muffins for special occasions.
At the weekend, I enjoy going into the forest without my cell phone, going for long walks and cooking a warm soup over the fire in between. I always have my pocket knife and folding spoon with me – little rituals that ground me and help me focus on the essentials.
