AI update: What I’m currently using Claude, ChatGPT & Gemini for

*Thisarticle is based on a YouTube video by Sophie Hundertmark, an expert in the use of artificial intelligence with a focus on chatbots and strategic AI applications in companies and public institutions. Sophie is a researcher and lecturer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and is doing her doctorate in Conversational AI at the University of Fribourg. The blog text was created using a custom GPT model that was trained on Sophie’s video content, language style and expertise. The result is well-founded, up-to-date articles based on Sophie Hundertmark‘s own expertise.

Development in the field of artificial intelligence is currently progressing rapidly. Tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini are becoming more and more powerful – and therefore more relevant to our everyday work.

In this article, I share with you the most exciting use cases that have particularly impressed me in recent weeks. The aim is to give you concrete inspiration on how you can integrate these tools into your own workflows in a meaningful way.

Claude: The underestimated all-rounder for productive work

Over the last few weeks, I have significantly increased my use of Claude – and for good reason.

A major advantage is the ability to work directly with classic working documents. For example, you can:

  • Create presentations automatically
  • Generate Word documents
  • Prepare content in a structured way
  • Export results directly and use them further

Example: Automated presentation creation

I provided Claude with a study of my own and gave him clear instructions on how to turn it into a presentation. The result:

  • A fully prepared PowerPoint
  • Clean structure and formatting
  • Directly downloadable and ready to use

Particularly helpful: You can make adjustments in the chat at any time – without having to start from scratch.

Example: Marketing automation strategy

Another scenario was the development of a marketing automation strategy:

  1. Joint development of content in the chat
  2. Iterative tuning and refinement
  3. Export as a finished Word document

This not only creates a concept, but also a direct result that you can continue to use in the team.

ChatGPT: Strengths for images and handwriting

Even though I currently use Claude more often, ChatGPT remains particularly strong for certain use cases.

Recognizing and understanding handwriting

A particularly practical example:
I had a handwritten recipe that was difficult to decipher.

  • Image uploaded
  • Text automatically recognized
  • Receive complete recipe

I was able to bake the recipe straight away – without any laborious decoding.

Extract color values from images

Another example from everyday working life:

  • Upload logo
  • Ask for the color code
  • Obtain exact values immediately

This saves time and makes long searches in Brand Guidelines superfluous.

Important: Pay attention to data protection, especially with sensitive documents.

Gemini: Quick creation of short videos

When it comes to creating short videos, Gemini has proven to be particularly practical for me.

Example: Video development

An exciting practical use case:

  • Upload an existing video
  • Gemini analyzes the content
  • New sequence is created automatically

In my case, a viral Easter video with a cat was continued – including consistent representation of the character.

This shows how easy it is to expand and reinterpret creative content today.

Conclusion: The right use case is crucial

The last few weeks have shown me one thing above all: there is no one perfect AI tool.

It is much more important to choose the right tool for the respective application:

  • Claude → for structured documents and productive work
  • ChatGPT → for image processing and flexible analyses
  • Gemini → for creative video use cases

If you combine these strengths in a targeted way, you can significantly increase your productivity and creativity.
