ChatGPT is a large-scale language model based on OpenAI’s GPT 3.5 architecture. It is capable of understanding and producing natural human language and can be used in many different application areas, such as chatbots, text generation, text translation and summarization, question answering and more. ChatGPT is trained by machine learning and uses an enormous corpus of data to generate context-sensitive and creative responses.
The ChatGPT workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to learn how to use ChatGPT and similar AI tools in their professional or private lives.

In the workshop, you will learn how to use ChatGPT in your everyday professional and private life. The main aim is to understand when the use of ChatGPT makes sense and when the use of ChatGPT is critical. It is also about finding the balance between human work and tasks that are performed by ChatGPT.
In podcast episode #90, you can hear how Kim Engels’ agency has already integrated ChatGPT into its day-to-day work. The idea is not for ChatGPT to replace employees, but rather to support colleagues skillfully.
ChatGPT is just one example of an AI tool that accompanies you in your everyday professional and private life. Of course, there are also many similar tools. We can also focus on other tools in the workshop. Tools from Switzerland and Germany, which have adapted their data protection guidelines to DACH companies, are also very interesting.
I have been working with chatbots and AI since the start of my Master’s degree (2015). By the end of 2022, the field had changed enormously again and hardly a day goes by without me working with ChatGPT or similar AI tools and trying out new possibilities. It is particularly important to me to strengthen the community and knowledge about chatbots, AI and ChatGPT. I am happy to pass on my experience and learn from the experiences of other experts.
On May 15, 2023, I was able to give a brief input on ChatGPT to the Swiss Federal Council. Afterwards, the topics of AI, transparency, ethics and possible applications were discussed together with the management.
I have given other presentations on ChatGPT at Sparkassen Finanzgruppe, Suva and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, for example.
