Generative AI, ChatGPT, GPT and other Large Language Models (LLMs) have led to many discussions, ideas and questions in recent months.
There are also many potential applications for Generative AI and ChatGPT in the medical sector. At the same time, important aspects must be taken into account, particularly with regard to ethics, data protection and humanity.
With a targeted presentation on Generative AI in Health, you will pick up your audience on the important topics surrounding artificial intelligence and prepare them for the future.

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an advanced form of AI that enables machines to autonomously generate content such as text, images, music and even videos that can be very similar to that of humans. Unlike traditional AI systems, which are programmed to perform specific tasks based on the data they are given, Generative AI learns from a variety of data how to create new, original content that did not previously exist. This is made possible by complex algorithms that enable AI to understand and creatively apply patterns, styles and contexts. From the creation of personalized media to the development of innovative solutions in medicine and, of course, other industries. We currently believe that this technology has the potential to transform not only the way we work, but also how we think creatively and drive innovation. In this context, the healthcare industry as you know it today is also facing major changes.

In recent months, Sophie has increasingly worked with companies from the healthcare industry or given talks for doctors and medical professionals, as well as moderating panels on AI in Health.
On May 15, 2023, I was able to give a short Swiss Federal Council with a brief input on ChatGPT to the Swiss Federal Council. The topics of AI, transparency, ethics and possible applications were then discussed together with the management.
I have given other presentations on ChatGPT at Sparkassen Finanzgruppe, Suva and the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, for example.
Of course, it’s no secret that I’m fascinated by everything to do with AI, generative AI and chatbots and that I love talking about them. However, it is also important to me to mention the risks and to convey a SENSIBLE approach to AI and chatbots. This also includes understanding when it is better to send a handwritten postcard rather than an AI-generated email. This report by Arte is very interesting and instructive.
