Cordial invitation to the fourth virtual chatbot exchange in the DACH region!

1.5 hours of exchange on the topic of chatbots

This digital networking round is primarily aimed at anyone who has already had initial experience with chatbots and would like to share this with others (experts). These can be interested parties on the part of providers or companies that already use bots.

In this digital round you have the chance to get to know other chatbot fans from the entire DACH region virtually and exchange your knowledge.

This time, in addition to the general exchange, I invited Anna Rozumowski for a short input session:

Anna Rozumowski is a research assistant at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).

“Trust is the basis for successful business relationships, as trust can have a significant impact on the intention to buy. Trust is also of fundamental importance in the virtual environment – for example when interacting with chatbots.

According to the Model of Trust (Wood et al., 2008), the most important assessment dimensions in the trust-building process are “warmth/sympathy” and “competence”.

We conducted an experimental study with students to explore how trust assessments are made in virtual contact – between human-machine interactions and human-human interactions. A chat-based live sales interaction was tested for this purpose. The results show that the warmth/sympathy of the human-human interaction is perceived as equivalent to that of the human-chatbot interaction. No differences were found in the perception of competence in human-chatbot or human-human interaction.”

I (Sophie Hundertmark) will host the meeting and ensure that everything runs smoothly. BUT of course I’ll also be sharing my experience in the chatbot area and will probably have a question or two for the panel.
