Sophie started the last keynote with the words “I know that there are AI apps for recognizing plants, but when I go hiking on Sundays with a good friend and plant expert, I don’t need AI”.
Sophie offers workshops for individuals and teams to train the far-sighted and mindful use of Generative AI and technologies such as ChatGPT.

Generative AI is a type of artificial intelligence (AI) that aims to create something new, such as text, images, music or videos. Unlike other types of AI, which are designed to analyze existing information or perform specific tasks, Generative AI attempts to create something new based on what it has learned from a large amount of data. It uses patterns and structures in the data to generate new content that is similar to what it has seen before. It is, so to speak, a creative machine that is able to think and create in a way that was previously only possible for humans. It is now up to people to integrate this technology into their everyday lives in a meaningful way and to recognize situations and applications that are still reserved for humans only.
Since the start of my Master’s degree (2015), I have been working on the topics of chatbots and AI. By the end of 2022, the field had changed enormously again and hardly a day goes by without me working with ChatGPT, SwissGPT or similar AI technologies and trying out new possibilities. It is particularly important to me to strengthen the community and knowledge around artificial intelligence and generative AI.
Responsible, mindful and sustainable use and handling of new technologies is particularly important to me.
It is important to me that those around me and our offspring learn when AI technologies are useful and when they are not. Critical thinking is becoming increasingly important today and I really want to pass this on to my fellow human beings.

The costs always depend on the effort involved and the type of event. If it’s for a good cause, Sophie doesn’t look at the budget.
